Institute of Turkish Studies(ITS)	www.turkishstudies.org ITS supports individual scholars for research on Turkish history, culture, contemporary political, social and economic developments in Turkey. It also assists American universities to develop their library resources, scholarly conferences, and outreach activities in the field of Turkish Studies ITS supports publication of books and journals to broaden the understanding and knowledge of Turkish history, society, politics and economics in the USA ITS promotes better understanding of Turkish politics, economy, and society through conferences and lecture series.
Turkish Cultural Foundation (TCF)	www.turkishculture.org TCF provides grants and sponsorships in the areas of: Education, Cultural Promotion, Festivals, Exhibitions, Turkish Cinema, Outreach and Worldwide Promotion, Tours, Cultural Preservation and Research.
American Research Institute in Turkey (ARIT)	ccat.sas.upenn.edu/ARIT ARIT provides grants for scholarly research in the field of humanities, fellowships, support for publications and language instruction for graduate level Turkish and American scholars. It has two brances in Istanbul an Ankara, Turkey.
Development Departments of Schools and Universities	Director of Development is in charge of fundraising for schools and universities and would typically know of sources of funds for all kinds of expenses for students. For example, a Director of Development would be able to access the graduate lists of his or her school by country of origin and may come up with alumni in the USA who would help a student from that country. Or he or she would know of wealthy donors, who let the Director of development know in advance that they may support a student
